Scouts is now on Christmas break

Scouts in now on Christmas holiday.

A big well done to all the scouts for getting through quite an “upside down” year.

We should be back on the 11th of Jan but please check back here in the new year in case anything changes. We will have an update on the status of masks etc (following any updates) in the new year.

7th Dec – “Im a scout get me out of here” (Last night of the year)

You should have received an email explaining the following points in more detail…

• For the short term (gov/scout guidance) all scouts need to wear a mask inside. So scouts please bring a mask with you.
• We are hoping this is only for a short time (but we don’t know when the rules will change).
• We will try and hold as much scouts nights outside as we can but we are now in winter and not the most practical.
• As outlined in the email the 7th Dec will be the last scouts before Christmas. We would normally have a Christmas party on the 14th but this doesn’t really mix with new rules.

Please check your emails for a bit more info on the points above.

7th Dec will be normal time 7-8:30pm. Drop off and pick up will be at the hut but we will be outside for the whole night.

Scouts NEED to have warm coat/clothes. We will be doing challenges out in the village and will only be in the hut for emergency toilet stops.
