1 st TARPORLEY SCOUT GROUP

Dear Parents,

ST GEORGES DAY PARADE

SUNDAY 23 rd APRIL 2017

Change of arrangements this year! We will celebrate St George’s Day on the day itself. It is strongly recommended that parents use the Tarporley Community Centre car park as the dropping off and collecting point Beavers / Cubs / Scouts / Explorers should turn up at the very old playground area at the east end (nearest the Scout Hut) of the Community Centre field at 10.15 a.m. dressed in smart, full uniform. They should wear school shoes and black/grey school trousers. A small sum of money for the collection is appreciated.

Attendance by all is regarded as obligatory but if your son or daughter is unable to take part, for good reason, then please let the relevant section leader know. Parents and relatives are more than welcome to attend too.

The church service will take place from 10.45 a.m. to around 12.00 a.m. and the parade will be completed by 12.10 p.m. Could parents please collect their sons / daughters from the Community Centre car park at 12.15 p.m.? (Too early and you may create a parking problem.)

Thank you,

Brum (Group Scout Leader)
